"I was born in Milan, at the Mangiagalli clinic (sic!), on 15 October 1941. Then, when the bombs began to fall heavily on the Lombard metropolis, my parents thought it best to move to Besazio, to the safer home of my grandparents There, when I was about two years old, I began to go to the chicken coop looking for some eggs. Later, after graduating from high school in Mendrisio, I first received professional training as a window dresser-decorator in Lugano and later as a graphic designer working in a study in Zurich and attending evening courses at the Kunstgewerbeschule.Between '63 and '65 I taught at the nascent CSIA in Lugano while hanging out at the scenography section of the Brera Academy.Afterwards, after a three-year experience in the marketing sector of a tobacco multinational, in 1968 I started the independent activity of graphic designer with my own studio in Caslano. During my professional activity I have obtained important mandates and numerous awards for posters, books, stamps, coordinated images… In addition to advertising, editorial and educational graphics, I have also dedicated myself to illustration, painting, satirical drawing and calligraphy, a discipline that today I teach, as part of the cantonal courses for adults, even a few. chickens".
