GLEB: GALERIE SUILLEROT 8 Rue d'Argenson - Anj. 54-88 - Octobre 1963 - ORIGINAL POSTER 50 X 31 CM WITH TIPPED-IN XILOGRAPH 27 X 21 CM, SIGNED. Thomas Gleb (1912-1991)
He is of Polish descent, where he learned the weaving craft, but was already very early interested in the arts and especially in drawing. Lived in Paris since 1932. His imaginative and constantly novel application of artistic expression made him well known far beyond the country's borders.
In addition to painting, he has repeatedly sought alternative forms of representation and after hand-woven tapestries and colored glass sculptures, he has invented the Pafilage * and developed it into a very decorative art form.
